These courses are designed for both first time boat builders and skilled carpenters. Check out the schedule for the next course, or if you can gather five people together The Kayak Guy will come to your community to put on a course. We sell Books, Plans, Kits and finished kayaks as well (contact us or drop by the shop to see models available). We also teach Paddling Techniques, Open Water Re-entry and Small Craft Navigation. It is not enough to have you on the water in a kayak you built; we want to to be safe and happy.
